A useful pick record begins before the listed start time. PickProof stores the confirmed sport, matchup, market, selection, line when applicable, American odds, sportsbook label, units, and timestamp. Later scores, grades, closing lines, and CLV are attached to that record rather than replacing the original fields.
This distinction matters because a prediction can be described differently after the outcome is known. A durable confirmation provides a checkable timeline without claiming that the selection was correct, profitable, or advisable.
Wins alone do not describe performance. PickProof records losses, pushes, canceled or void-equivalent outcomes, unit risk, unit profit, ROI, and available closing information. A confirmed loss cannot simply be deleted to make the displayed record look better. Legitimate source or grading corrections remain possible and are applied without rewriting the original confirmation.
Public pages include only records that satisfy the public eligibility contract. Private picks stay private, and delayed-reveal picks stay unavailable until the selected reveal rule is satisfied.
An eligible public receipt shows what was recorded and when. The live page is more useful than an isolated image because it can reflect later grading or closing-data corrections while preserving the immutable pick fields. A receipt verifies the PickProof record; it does not audit a sportsbook account or endorse a user.
Use the receipt lookup for a PickProof code or trusted receipt URL. Unavailable responses deliberately do not reveal whether a resource is private, delayed, removed, or unknown.
Win rate, net units, ROI, average odds, and CLV answer different questions. ROI scales net profit by graded risk. CLV compares a confirmed price or market position with a qualified closing reference. A good win rate can coexist with weak ROI, and positive CLV does not guarantee a winning result.
Every public calculator states its formula, worked example, limitations, and common mistakes. Inputs stay in the browser and are not sent to PickProof or analytics.
PickProof's public site is organized around the same sequence used for responsible recordkeeping: confirm a pick, retain its receipt, grade every eligible outcome, attach closing information when available, and only then summarize the record.
