What a verified receipt establishes
A PickProof receipt identifies the immutable pick fields that were confirmed, including the selection, price, event context, units, sportsbook label, and confirmation time. When the record says it was locked before the listed start, the receipt provides evidence that the selection existed in PickProof before that time.
The receipt can later show an eligible grade, final score, profit result, closing capture, and CLV. Those later fields are separate from the original confirmation and may be corrected if an authoritative source changes.
What a receipt does not prove
Verification does not mean PickProof recommends the selection, endorses the user, or guarantees that the record will be profitable. It does not prove the confirmed price was the best price available everywhere, and it does not independently inspect a sportsbook account.
One receipt also cannot establish long-term skill. Evaluate the complete public record, sample size, average odds, risk volume, ROI, and available CLV rather than treating a single win or loss as representative.
How to read the receipt
Start with the confirmation time and listed event start. Then check the market, line, odds, sportsbook, and units. If the event is graded, review the result and unit profit. If a qualified closing capture exists, compare the confirmed and closing values using the market-specific CLV method.
The public verification hash belongs to the PickProof receipt record. Use the live page as the current source because a shared image may be old, cropped, or detached from a later correction.
Privacy and public eligibility
Public lookup is not a back door into private picks. Demo and internal accounts, private picks, delayed-unrevealed picks, deleted or restricted resources, and the legacy public-after-final state are excluded by the backend eligibility gate before the page is rendered.
For that reason, an unavailable response is intentionally generic. PickProof does not confirm that a username, receipt, or hidden selection exists.
Common verification questions
Can a confirmed losing pick be removed?
A confirmed miss cannot be deleted merely to improve the displayed PickProof record. Legitimate grading corrections can still be applied when source data changes.
Why might a real code be unavailable?
The code may be incorrect, private, not yet public, removed, or otherwise ineligible. The lookup uses one response for all unavailable causes to protect privacy.
Should I trust a screenshot of a receipt?
Use the live PickProof URL when possible. A screenshot can omit context and cannot prove it still matches the current verified record.
